Our beloved Cologne recently hosted SEODAY for the fourth year running and once again, we at XOVI were delighted to support Fabian and his team as event sponsor. From our stand in the RheinEnergieStadion, we were also able to show off and answer questions about the new XOVI V3. So before we go any further, a huge well done to Fabian for the seamless organisation of the day – the check-in process in particular was much smoother this year.

As in previous years, SEODAY was attended by numerous experts from the field, many of whom gave presentations on their area of expertise. We learnt that Google is increasingly becoming a world super-power (Sören Bendig), that online shopping decisions are taken predominantly by women and that these often depend on various emotional aspects (“SeoWoman” Alexandra Lindner). Felix Beilharz was once again at hand with practical tips for SEO beginners – even the most experienced in the audience learnt something new. Indeed it would have impossible to attend every presentation on the day, so you’re bound to have missed something!

No-one can deny the current upward trend in search engine optimisation. Enthusiasm remains as high as ever and we were once again treated to interested discussions with even more interesting people. Networking continued well into the evening at Cologne’s ever-popular Bar 51. Thanks again to Fabian for a successful SEODAY 2014. Here’s to next year! We’ll be there again and we can’t wait.
