Analyse any link profile with the XOVI Disavow Tool and keep the risk of Google penalties to a minimum. The Disavow Tool also helps you escape existing penalties quickly and easily. XOVI's Link Disavow Tool calculates a risk value for each individual link, enabling you to quickly evaluate the quality of your backlink sources. The risk value has three levels – high, medium and low risk. High risk links should be checked immediately and most likely removed. Medium risk links require your attention too. Low risk links don't pose an immediate threat and don't necessarily need double-checking. XOVI uses a range of metrics to calculate link risk: does the site contain malware? Is the domain in the Google index? How visible is the domain? You can decide which metrics are used to calculate link risk each time you start an analysis.
Once you've set up an analysis, the Disavow Tool sets about evaluating the general risk posed by backlinks. You can review the results in several different ways. Key link data is displayed in table form. This includes target and source URL, anchor texts, risk factor and metrics applied. This information can be used to determine whether to add a link to the disavow list or not. In addition to the table, you can review your backlinks in the link wizard, which also displays all the key figures for each link. A preview of each domain is also shown. Link evaluation is significantly more efficient with the link wizard. Once you have double checked all your backlinks, create and download your disavow file.
Link analysis is useful even if you havn't had any manual Google penalties. The Disavow Tool roots out any unnatural-looking links and ensures that no penalties come your way in future either. It is worth repeating your disavow analyses regularly. You can include any existing disavow file in your re-evaluation so that any backlinks which have already been disavowed are ignored. Once complete, you only need to review new links.
